Freshpaint Fair was founded to bring together an eager audience with the creative community, making art and design more accessible to the public while supporting the local artists and designers. Since its first edition in 2008, the fair has been held annually in Tel Aviv—Israel’s cultural hub—attracting a diverse and engaged crowd of over 40,000 visitors each year.

The fair collaborates with leading art institutions in Israel and worldwide, establishing itself as a key destination for art and culture enthusiasts. These days, we are expanding Freshpaint into the Freshpaint Group, which operates year-round to promote Israeli art and culture. As part of this effort, we showcase and sell original Israeli art in all Tollman’s Dot exhibition spaces and at the Tollman’s Flagship showroom, demonstrating the natural connection between art and design—continuing to create meaningful opportunities for Israeli artists to thrive.

Freshpaint Art & Design Fair is Israel’s largest and leading annual art and design event. Since its creation, the fair has served as a bridge between the general public and the local creative community, offering a unique experience that blends art, design, and community. With over 15 years of fairs, Freshpaint has become a beloved cultural brand for art and design enthusiasts across Israel.

Freshpaint fair was founded with the goal of making high-quality Israeli art accessible to a wider audience, expanding the circle of those who engage with contemporary art, and supporting emerging artists. The fair creates new opportunities for artists and designers, channels resources into the cultural sector, and serves as a platform for advancing social and community-driven initiatives through art and design.

A commercial platform with a social vision for emerging artists. Each year, approximately 40 promising talents are selected to participate in the fair, receiving professional curatorial support, a dedicated exhibition space, and sales assistance. The artists gain significant exposure, close guidance, and ongoing support during and after the fair.

A dedicated space for Israeli product designers from diverse fields, including furniture, lighting, textiles, glass, and ceramics. The exhibition introduces designers to the general public as well as industry professionals, showcasing a unique selection of pieces.
A gallery and projects section presenting solo and group exhibitions, as well as large-scale installations, curated by leading galleries and independent curators. Selected projects receive a dedicated exhibition space, marketing support, and high-profile exposure to a wide audience.
The Live! section highlights top artists and collectives who create immersive experiences throughout the fair, inviting visitors to actively engage. Each day, the fair comes to life with live performances, interactive installations, and unexpected artistic happenings.
Special projects and exhibitions that go beyond standard exhibition spaces, including curated collaborations with exhibitors, prize-winning showcases, and unique initiatives developed in partnership with sponsors.

Freshpaint Fair serves as a platform for discovering and nurturing Israel’s next generation of artists through its Artist Greenhouse, while Tollman’s leads Israel’s design culture and is home to prestigious international design brands.
Together, we promote both fields with the understanding that art and design are deeply intertwined, complementing each other and enriching our living spaces.

We offer personalized curation services for private clients, offices, and commercial spaces, working closely with clients, designers, and architects. At Tollman’s Home, you can discover a curated selection of works by Israel’s top artists, handpicked by Freshpaint, making the space the largest gallery in Israel.

Projects

The team offers art consulting and curatorial services to both private and business clients, leveraging our extensive network of artists, many of whom are alumni of the fair. We focus on creating unique connections between artworks and different spaces, with the goal of adding meaning, character, and aesthetics to each project. Some of the curatorial projects we’ve worked on include curating the art collection for IBI’s offices, as well as a prominent project at the Bat Shlomo Vineyards hotel, where carefully selected artworks were integrated into the venue’s unique experience.

In addition to these projects, we provide personalized services such as supporting private and institutional collections, creating focused exhibitions from existing collections, and developing both printed and digital catalogs. We also work on developing innovative ways to make art more accessible, such as audio guides and interactive experiences, allowing the public to connect with the artworks and discover deeper layers of meaning.
